Status of The Bibliovert: Blog Update

I’m going to get straight to the point, This will be my last post for a while. Unfortunately, I have developed carpal tunnel. I’ve had pain in my hands for some time but because of my love for doctors, I put it off. I have mentioned in prior posts that I suffer from chronic pain, back pain, fibromyalgia, and Sjogren’s Syndrome to name a few issues. So I have my share of issues and doctor appointments already and really didn’t want to deal with adding another issue to that list. Now it’s beyond the point where I can just ignore it anymore. The pain in my hands is well beyond tolerable. I went and had an EMG test done and it confirmed I have severe carpal tunnel in both the left and right hand. The right one is the worst as the nerve is no longer responding. Surgery will be needed to correct the issue and they will only be able to fix one hand at a time. So, recovery will take some time seeing I need both my right and left hand corrected.

As I type this, my hands have fallen asleep and my fingers are repetitively hitting the wrong keys (I’m so grateful for Grammarly!), and I’m just trying to get through this. Long story short, it’s really frustrating, painful, and it takes a really long time just to write a post, not alone the formatting and everything else that goes into maintaining a blog.  So, I will be taking a break from The Bibliovert for an unknown amount of time, but I’ll back. This is unfortunate timing as I felt my blog was just starting to get traction but my health needs to come first. I will continue on Twitter and Instagram until, or unless, my doctors say otherwise.

I want to thank you all for your support of the blog and I will see you on Twitter(@tbibliovert) and Instagram(@tbibliovert) ❤ .

Best wishes and happy reading!
